VILLAGGIO

In 1997 we built To Chorio, and in 2016 Villaggio — a restaurant of its own kind in Thessaloniki, in the same place in Toumba, on Gr. Lambraki street. Nineteen years on, flavours that kept growing out of a constant search for the best result made a new place necessary. The reason is simple: we wanted to serve the best flavours, cooked with a particular care. So we changed everything!

The room became minimal, cheerful and easy, because flavour asks for a good mood! The dishes multiplied and became singular through their own simplicity, bringing together influences from Greece and Italy within the wider Mediterranean kitchen. Spices, herbs and vegetables meet carefully chosen meats — chicken, beef, pork — and are bound by sauces that carry the mind somewhere across the Mediterranean!

At Villaggio even the tableware matters, since every dish wants its own to carry its scent and its taste properly. And because good food goes with good wine, at Villaggio we choose the best from Greek vineyards, from every part of the country!
